Autumn Rugby Internationals – England v New Zealand
Kick-off: 3:10pm
England will face the New Zealand All Blacks at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday 2nd November. This will be the first of four autumn internationals to be played by England in 2024. The winner of this match will be awarded the Hillary Shield.
In their most recent encounter, England came from behind to earn a 25-25 draw with the All Blacks during the 2022 Autumn Internationals.
Overall, England and New Zealand have played each other on 43 occasions since their first meeting in 1905. The All Blacks have won 33 matches, whilst England have won eight matches. There have also been two drawn matches between the two sides.
Twickenham Stadium is the Home of England Rugby. Seating an impressive 82,000 spectators, Twickenham is the largest dedicated rugby union venue in the world.
It’s hard to believe that this historic venue began life as a humble cabbage patch, but that’s exactly what it was before the RFU purchased the land for just over £5,500 in 1907. The first game was played in 1909 – a battle between local sides Harlequins and Richmond.
